A clear story
A clear theme in the Bible is that God wants to dwell with us; that He cares so much about being with us, and us being with Him that He has spent thousands of years restoring our broken relationship.
A clear theme in the Bible is that God wants to dwell with us; that He cares so much about being with us, and us being with Him that He has spent thousands of years restoring our broken relationship.
The basic theme is:
God made a home for us, but He wanted to live there with us.
Our sin made us leave that home, and so that original plan was broken.
God has spent the rest of human history working to erase our sin so He can live with us again.
So, this is my attempt to show you there is an easy to follow thread through the whole Bible, and that you, me or anyone can understand the basic plot without needing a masters degree in theology. I hope you find it helpful.
